Emulsion KR2

Emulsion KR2 is a concentrated silicone water repellent admixture for use in the manufacture of dry-pressed concrete masonry including blocks, bricks and pavers.

Emulsion KR2 is solvent-free and can also be used an admixture for making dry mix concrete water repellent.

The use of Emulsion KR2 enhances the intrinsic quality of pressed or dry mix concrete products by reducing the damage caused by weathering-related water uptake and efflorescence.

Emulsion KR2 has the following qualities:

• Reduces water absorption by over 80%
• Emulsion KR2 permanently bonds to the substrate
• It does not leave an oily residue on the product
• It is easy to use and can be used in existing processes
• The degree of water resistance can be varied by changing the rate of addition
• No hazardous solvents are emitted during use
• It has a non-flammable and non-corrosive formulation
• Cost effective
