Protection against staining

Tech-Dry Protectaseal is a deep penetrating stain resistant sealer that is both water and oil repellent.

By penetrating deep into the substrate, Protectaseal offers a more durable protection against staining than traditional surface-only treatments. With excellent oil and water repellency, Protectaseal has been designed for most permeable masonry building materials such as:

• Natural stone.
• Concrete.
• Cast stone
• Sandstone
• Limestone
• Pavers
• brick
• Grout
• Terracotta tile

It may also be used for some dense or polished substrates.

Protectaseal is available in both solvent and water based forms.

Protectaseal-S

Protectaseal-S is a solvent based penetrating sealer that contains mainly user-friendly alcoholic solvent.

Recommended for all natural stones, concrete, clay pavers, tiles and grout.

Protectaseal-W

Protectaseal-W is a water based penetrating stain-resistant sealer containing no solvent.

Recommended for concrete and sandstone.

Both formulations are avaliable in 4 Litre & 20 Litre sizes.

Application

Protectaseal is best applied using a low-pressure hand spray. The product can be also applied using a clean brush. The initial treated surface should have a mirror-like wet film appearance. When the 1st coat is absorbed by the surface, the 2nd coat should be applied immediately. This is called wet-on-wet application method to ensure enough material is applied to the surface to achieve deep penetration. Any remaining liquid on the surface for over 5 minutes should be removed to avoid excessive accumulation of the sealer, which may cause an uneven finish.
